Finding the book you want is easy at BookStoreIndia.com. You
could look for it by simply giving us the title or the author
or both. If you are not sure of the title or the author, find
your book by giving us the subject. If you know the ISBN, then
just type it in. We will quickly show you the titles that match
your search inputs. We are sure you will find the book you are
looking for at BookStoreIndia.com
Advanced Search can help you quickly find any book you're looking
for, when you browse through our bookstore. A few pointers :
1. If you enter too many words or fields, fewer search results
will be returned.
If you are not sure about the author's exact name, give only
the part of the name that you are sure of. For example, it's
better to search for "Rand" rather than "Ian
Rand", if you're unsure. If you're sure, it's far better
to search for "Ayn Rand" however!
Some authors are better known by their chosen name or pen
name rather than their birth name. For example "Alice
Rosenbaum" or "Samuel Clemens" may return no
matches, while "Ayn Rand" or "Mark Twain"
will!
If you key in too many criteria, only books matching all
your criteria will be shown. In general, decrease number of
keywords to get more matches. We recommend you use only the
main words from an author's name or from a subject.
2. If you're sure of the beginning word of the title of a
book, that's the fastest way to search for it. But if you're
not sure, don't try this - asking for all books strating with
the word "Veteran" will not throw up "The Veteran"
by Frederick Forsyth, since it actually begins with the word
"The". It's better to search using "Contains"
rather then "Starts with" in such a case.
3. It's likely you're looking for a large number of books,
and know exactly which books you're looking for, including
their International Standard Book Number (ISBN). Key in all
the ISBN's separated by commas to immediately get all your
desired books. This is the fastest way of finding books. Do
not key in author or title or any other details if you're
searching with the ISBN numbers. This option is great for
librarians, academicians, bibliophiles, or anyone who's searching
for specific books whose details are already known.
